About the Role
The Engine Officer plays a vital role in maintaining the technical integrity of the vessel.
You will be part of a highly skilled technical team dedicated to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Stand engine room watches and monitor machinery performance.
- Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on main and auxiliary engines.
- Manage fuel and lubricating oil transfers.
- Ensure compliance with MARPOL regulations regarding engine room operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience on similar vessel types.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Strong safety mindset.
Qualifications / Certificates
- Valid Certificate of Competency (EOOW or higher).
- Advanced tanker endorsements.
- Valid STCW certificates.
