Oil/Chemical Tankers
Asia Pacific Shipping operates a fleet of oil/chemical tankers serving international shipping markets. Our tankers are designed to transport a range of petroleum products and chemical cargoes, providing flexible cargo-carrying capability for international trade. ASP combines commercial expertise, technical management and operational experience to support safe cargo transportation, reliable vessel performance and efficient fleet utilisation.
ASP's oil/chemical tanker operations focus on the safe carriage of petroleum products and chemical cargoes, with particular attention to cargo compatibility, segregation, cargo handling and vessel readiness. Our modern MR2 tanker newbuildings are designed to provide greater flexibility in cargo operations. ASP MAPLE and ASP CEDAR, for example, are 50,000 DWT oil/chemical tankers complying with IMO Type 2 and Type 3 requirements. Their cargo systems incorporate six-grade cargo segregation and double-valve segregation, enabling different cargoes to be carried with greater operational flexibility.
ASP's tanker operations are supported by coordinated commercial, technical and operational management. Vessel condition, planned maintenance, regulatory compliance and operational readiness are closely managed to support safe and reliable performance throughout each voyage. Our technical management framework includes compliance with applicable international maritime requirements, with ASP's management systems certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, operating in accordance with OCIMF TMSA requirements and supported by ASP's own ISM Document of Compliance.
